The preparation method of zirconia materials is also a commonly used classification basis. Commonly used preparation methods are:

1. Preparation of zirconia by hot water method (Hydrothermal Method): This preparation method uses high pressure, high temperature and high concentration in the hydrothermal solution to make the oxide easy to form and deposit, and at the same time, the particle size and dispersion can be controlled. This preparation method simplifies the preparation process and can obtain highly purified zirconia materials.

2. Sol-gel method to prepare zirconia (Sol-gel Method): This preparation method uses extensive gas, liquid, and solid phase interactions to prepare zirconia materials. By utilizing excellent properties such as low-temperature synthesis and microscopic control, zirconia materials with higher purity and better controllability can be obtained.

3. Preparation of zirconium oxide by vapor deposition method (Chemical Vapor Deposition, CVD Method): This method is to prepare zirconium oxide material by depositing organic gas on the surface of the substrate in a high-temperature furnace. This preparation method can achieve higher deposition rate and uniform deposition thickness. Because its preparation is relatively difficult and requires high equipment, it is generally only used for the preparation of high-end zirconia materials.
